Power of Personalization Study Underscores CMOs Frustration and Opportunity

CMO Council released a survey highlighting the frustrations chief marketing officers face as they try to comprehend and execute an effective personalization strategy. No doubt personalized and relevant communication to consumers is critical in this age of MySpace, MyFoxNews and other brands seeking to capitalize on the my factor. 
When asked what were the key challenges and issues for implementing personalized communications in marketing and business development respondents noted:
  1. Inadequate Systems and Infrastructure
  2. Lack of Customer Data and Insight
  3. Cost and Complexity
